Shihan Lee, affectionately known as the “Pied Piper of children’s martial arts,” has been training in martial arts for over 30 years. He is a world-renowned instructor, as well as a top-10 ranked competitor. He is an experienced tournament referee and competitor, having brought home more trophies than one can count. Shihan has trained in karate, judo, weapons, kickboxing, ju-jitsu, and kung fu to name a few, although he has experience in many of the other fields of martial arts. He has official ranking in karate as a 7th dan, in ju-jitsu as a 6th dan, and is also a 7th degree in kung fu. Sensei Alexis Fabricius teaches some of the children’s
classes. She has 15 years of experience, and has attained the rank of
3rd degree black sash in kung fu, 2nd degree black belt in karate, and a brown belt in kickboxing. Sensei Paul Thorn is the first student in our dojo to achieve the rank of black belt in kickboxing, and also assists teaching in the kickboxing classes, as well as the occasional karate class. Sensei Mario Georghiou is a first degree black belt in karate, with many years of experience. He attained the rank of black sash in kung fu earlier in his martial arts career, although at a different school. Sensei teaches some of the kids classes, as well as ju-jitsu and kickboxing on occasion. Many of our instructors and students are members of the Canadian Karate Kung-Fu Association www.ckka.net
